Seminyak

1. Patato Head

If you need some vitamine C(ocktail) you should go to Potato head! BEST COCKTAILS EVER served to you in epic glasses. (you can get some serious epic insta pics). Love the interior and the view of the sea!

I suggest going in the evening because it gets really cosy and you'll enjoy the beautiful sunset. You have the perfect melange of locals and tourists. Everyone is super social so if you're alone don't be afraid, you're never alone in Bali. (I met a girl in the bathroom and we're still friends, she helped me fix a transfer boat to Gili and we partied like... a lot) Like everywhere in bali the staff is friendly, when you ask for Galeeshi I'm sure they can fix you a nice bed near the pool. Be sure to bring some money because it ain't cheap.

2. La favella

Jl. Laksamana Oberoi 177X, Seminyak 80361, Indonesia

You can enjoy a nice beer... or have an epic party! This is definitely the place you need to go if you want to experience bali's nightlife. During the weekend it's filled with all the cool people dancing on some gooooooood vibes... Feels like you are partying in the jungle.... how cool is that... only pretty monkeys tho...

3. La laguna

Adres: Jalan Pantai Kayu Putih, Banjar Tegal Gundul, Canggu, Brawa, Badung, Bali, // 11:00–23:00

No words for this place... It's filled with hippie vibes, small caravans where you have a tarot reading. It's situated near by the sea, you can eat lovely moroccan dishes. I had the lamb with couscous, don't miss it out! It's like entering paradise. Same owner of la favela! (not cheap to eat at all)

4. Nooks

Adres: Jl. Umalas 1, Gang Nook No. 1, Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali, Indonesië // 08:00–23:00

COOLEST RESTAURANT EVER! TRY THE CORDON BLEU! It wil blow your mind, it's the best you will have ever eat, I swear. Surrounded by rice fields, not expensive !

5. Jenja

Adres: Townsquare Suites, Jl. Nakula Barat No. 18, Banjar Legian Kaja, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesië

If you're one of those people who like to pop bottles like it ain't nothing go to Jenja. It's (literally) a cool place. But you'll dance so hard that you will get hot in no time. YOU CAN'T ENTER WITH FLIPFLOPS!

Check bali's brunch places to be. (all in Seminyak) (like really skip that awful breakfast from your hotel)

Canguu

Coolest city in bali with all the hot surfer dudes and chicks included!

6. Pererenan ricefields

Take the shortcut ride along the northern end of Jalan Pantai Pererenan, stunningly beautiful paddy scenery.

7. Deus

Have a coffee and enjoy the cool motorrides! (Lunch or dinner is nothing special)

8. Old Man's

Adres: Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesië

Surfers place to be! Next to the sea, real nice dishes for a fair price! If you want to party go to old mans on Wednesday, you'll love it.

Uluwatu

For the fearless surfers --> really crazy be careful ! (currency, rocks,...)

Gunung Batur

9. Mont Batur

Best way to enjoy the sunset. Take off at 2 A.M. because you'll have a date with the sun. How cool is that. Don't forget to buy some eggs before you start to climb, you can boil them in the hot steam of the volcano, yes it's a semi active volcano. It's exciting. I suggest taking a guide taking you there if it's your first time. If it's your second time you know that you are obligated to take a guide during the climb! If you sing the sun song I'm sure the clouds can stop being stubborn for your efforts. Oh and dress well, I was freezing like hell in this outfit. So don't do it.

Ubud

10. Monkey forrest

how touristic it sounds, you should do it! Don't take any things in your pocket and make sure to close your bag and don't wear your sunglasses, that's just asking for problems.

Tips

Motorcycle

If you're a daredevil who doesn't like standing in a traffic jam, rent a motorcycle. Don't pay more than 5 dollars/day for it and only tank from legal gas station, not from the vodka bottles you see on the street. A full tank costs 2,5 dollars.
